What are the different roles on the OmniPlatform?

Super admins are the managers of the managers. They assign employees their managers to report to and have access to everything on the OmniPlatform.

Managers can have finance permissions, payroll permissions, direct reports, and approve expenses. All of a Manager's permissions are set by a Super Admin.

  • Any Manager with the 'Payroll' role, will be able to download 'Payroll Reports' for available employees.

  • A Manager with the Payroll and Finance role will have all of the permissions of both.

  • A Manager with employee expense permissions will be the expense approver for direct reports assigned to them.

  • A Manager with direct reports will be able to see their direct reports' compensation data and submit changes for their direct reports.

  • Direct reports are the employees who can be assigned a manager, upload expenses for approval etc.

How to invite a new line manager to the OmniPlatform

How to set up a Manager's permissions?

  1. Log in to the OmniPlatform as a Super Admin and click on the 'Permissions' button on the dashboard.

  2. Select a Client Manager that does not have the Super Admin right. Super Admins have access to all permissions and their 'Super Admin' status will supersede any permissions selected for them.

  3. Choose the desired permissions for the Manager based on the level of access you'd like them to have.

  4. Changes are saved automatically and will be effective immediately.

Depending on your screen size this can be on the right-hand side of the screen, or at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Select a manager.

  4. Next to '-Direct reports-' click '-Edit-' to assign or unassign direct reports from a manager.

  5. Check the '-Receive employee expense-' notification checkbox if you want this manager to receive expense notifications from their direct reports and to be able to approve them.

Please note: Direct reports will not be able to see who their line manager is on the OmniPlatform. Please inform them directly of any changes made on the OmniPlatform.
