The OmniPlatform gives you access to your invoice and credit note data through downloadable .csv reports and PDF copies. Invoices are available for download to Super Admins or Managers with invoicing permissions, via their account.

Please note: PDF copies of invoices and credit notes are only available from February 2022. If you require a PDF copy of an invoice or credit note from before February 2022, please reach out to the Support team.

To download invoices or credit notes in the OmniPlatform, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the OmniPlatform as a Super Admin or Manager with invoice reports permissions.

  2. In the left-hand side menu, click on 'Billing', then select 'Invoices'. At the end of the item line, you'll see a 'Download' button.

  3. 'Download as a PDF' or 'Download as a CSV'.

  4. The file will be saved to your device for you to preview. Please stay on the page, until your invoice/credit note has downloaded.

Why download reports as a .csv file?

  • .csv files make it easier to upload your invoice or credit note data to your financial tools for reporting.

  • This allows for simple reporting within a spreadsheet. For example, you can easily answer questions like: “How much did we spend on 'Social Costs' in Germany last quarter?”.

  • The .csv file contains additional information not found in the .pdf version of individual invoices. For example, .csv reports also contain the invoice due date, purchase order number, type of employment, cost category (salary/social cost, etc.), employee I.D. (a unique identifier), employee country, and tax amount (this only applies to VAT in the UK).

What does the report include?

The report will include rows for each charge relating to a specific employee. You can access reports dating back to September 1, 2022.

In each report you will see:

  • Monthly, recurring costs such as salary and social costs in a dedicated row.

  • Bonuses, commissions, and expenses grouped under variable pay.

  • Deposits and upfront payments.

Troubleshooting

If you don’t have a compatible program on your device, your .csv file may not open automatically. You can use Microsoft Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets, and a handful of other programs to open .csv files. You can also choose your preferred program to be the default for opening these files.
