In some cases, organizations may need to onboard a new employee without immediate visibility to the broader team. Whether it’s an executive-level hire, a strategic transition, or a sensitive project role, adding a confidential hire ensures discretion while maintaining a seamless onboarding experience.
This guide walks you through the steps to add a confidential hire to the OmniPlatform, allowing you to manage the process securely and efficiently.
Super Admin Permissions for Confidential Hires
The following steps can be performed by a Super Admin only. Super admins manage the managers, assign employees their reporting structure, and have access to all settings on the OmniPlatform. A Manager's permissions are fully controlled by a Super Admin.
Step 1: Adjust Manager Permissions
As a Super Admin:
Log in to OmniPlatform.
Navigate to Permissions.
Select the applicable Manager(s).
Uncheck the following boxes:
Can access company-wide financial data (including invoices and salary data).
Can access company-wide payroll data (including payroll reports and salary data).
Step 2: Contact Support for Additional Adjustments (If applicable)
Depending on your organization’s needs, you may need to reach out to Support to request the following adjustments:
Downgrade Super Admin permissions for users who should not have access to the confidential hire.
Change the company invoicing email to ensure privacy in financial records.
Enable PII (Personally Identifiable Information) protection on invoices so the new employee’s personal information remains hidden.
