Employees are paid on the last working day of the month. You should receive your salary before the end of the work day by 5:00 p.m.

💰 When are taxes deducted from my salary paid to the Tax Department?
In Cyprus, taxes deducted from your salary (Pay-As-You-Earn or PAYE) are remitted to the Tax Department by your employer the following month. For example, the tax deducted from your March salary is paid to the Tax Department by the end of April. This system ensures that tax payments are made on a monthly basis, giving employers sufficient time to process and remit the correct amounts on your behalf.
🤑 Here's where to go for expenses
Please submit your receipts to the “Expenses” section of your OmniPlatform profile. Any expenses approved by your manager by the 6th of the month will be paid out on the last working day of that month’s payroll.
🌴 Here's what to do for holiday/vacation
Use your internal HR systems for annual leave requests (Please speak to your Line Manager for assistance). Once the holiday/vacation time is approved, you must register your time off in the “Time Off” tab of your OmniPlatform profile for payroll purposes.
🌡️ Here's what to do if you are sick
If you are sick and unable to work, you must notify your manager and help@omnipresent.com as soon as possible and obtain a medical certificate from your doctor. To receive sick leave benefits from the government, it is your responsibility to submit the required application and supporting documents, including the medical certificate, to the Social Insurance Services within the specified timeframe. Failure to complete this process may result in losing eligibility for government sick leave pay.
🌍 Wondering about your public holidays?
You should always follow the public holidays of the country you're employed in, so please take those days off and rest! Please ensure you always give a heads-up to your line manager in case they're located in a different country.
