Omnipresent are continually working to improve our global clients and employees experience. As part of this commitment, we’re excited to announce an extension of our payroll cut-off dates to the 15th of each month for most countries. This change will take effect in March 2025 and aims to provide greater flexibility for submitting and approving payroll-related items.

What Does This Mean for You?

Extended timeline for submissions - you now have until the 15th of each month to submit and approve any additional pay, salary adjustments, or expenses. These submissions will still be processed for inclusion in the current month's payroll.

Exceptions to the Rule

  1. While this extension applies to the majority of countries in our network, there will be a small percentage of exceptions where the cut-off date will remain the 6th due to country-specific compliance or operational constraints.

  2. Any large bonuses submitted - greater than £10,000 for one employee, or cumulatively over £30,000 for multiple employees per payroll cycle - will be subject to a different process, explained in detail here. The deadline for submitting these bonuses is:

    • 30th of the previous month for employees with a 6th cut-off date

    • 8th of the month for employees with a 15th cut-off date

*the pre-funding amount must also be transferred to Omnipresent’s account before the payroll cut-off date (6th or 15th)

  3. December payroll cutoffs will continue to be earlier in the month - you will receive email notifications of the December cutoffs depending on which country an employee linked with your company is located.

*Omnipresent supports both 6th and 15th cut-off dates in this country depending on our local partner. While we prioritise local partners with a later cut-off date, local partners with an earlier cut-off date might be chosen because of visa sponsorship ability and other factors. If you would like to switch to a local partner with a later cut-off date, feel free to reach out to your Customer Success Manager or our Support team at help@omnipresent.com.

The rest of the countries that Omnipresent supports will have a new cut-off date on the 15th.

Where Can I Find the Cut-off Dates for my Employees?

When you are adding an Additional Pay or making Salary Changes for an employee, you will see the cut-off date for that specific employee.

When you are approving an Expense, you will also see the next cut-off date for that employee.

Why This Change?

Our decision to extend cut-off dates reflects our dedication to simplifying and optimizing global payroll processes. By providing additional time for submissions, we hope to ease administrative pressures and support our clients and employees in ensuring payroll accuracy.

This change underscores our commitment to flexibility and responsiveness in delivering world-class payroll solutions. Should you have any questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to your Omnipresent contact or our Support team at help@omnipresent.com.
