What is a grievance?

A grievance procedure is a formal way for an employee to raise a problem or complaint to their employer.

The employee can raise a grievance if:

  • they feel raising it informally has not worked

  • they do not want it dealt with informally

  • it's a very serious issue, for example sexual harassment.

Please note: submitting a formal grievance and raising a complaint for any service issues are different. Any complaints regarding payslips, contracts and other service issues will not be answered through the grievance process. For any complaints regarding Omnipresent’s service, or to get help with a query please email help@omnipresent.com.

Who can a grievance be submitted against?

If you need to make a formal complaint against your line manager, a colleague or Omnipresent, please use this form.

How to submit a grievance?

You can submit a grievance anonymously via this form. The written grievance should set out the nature of the complaint, including any relevant facts, dates, and individuals involved and indicate what you expect the outcome to be.

What happens next?

Our Employee Relations Team will investigate the matter, schedule a grievance meeting with you and deliver the outcome within a reasonable time period in accordance with Omnipresent’s internal procedures.
