In this article, we'll walk you through the key aspects of your working relationship with us.

Your Legal Employer

When you work with Omnipresent, or one of our affiliated local partners, you're entering into an arrangement where your legal employer ensures that you're compliant with labor laws and regulations. As the employee, you bring your skills and efforts to the company that has engaged you.

While you perform your professional responsibilities within the company, it's essential to know that Omnipresent is responsible for managing your official employment and compensation. This falls under the "Employer of Record" (EOR) framework.

The Employer of Record (EOR) model offers a streamlined solution for businesses to onboard workers in foreign markets without the need to establish their own legal presence in that specific country. Learn more about EOR, here.

Applicable Laws to Your Employment Agreement

The laws governing your employment contract depend on the country where you reside. For instance, if you work for a UK-based company while living in France, your employment contract will be subject to French law. This legal arrangement is facilitated through Omnipresent or our affiliated local partner in France.

Employee Classification

Working with Omnipresent doesn't classify you as an independent contractor. Instead, when you sign an employment contract, you become a full-time employee under the local entity—this could be Omnipresent or one of our affiliated partners.

In this role, you function as a remote team member within your employing company.

This means you don't need to establish your own business, manage tax filings, or hire accountants. You can enjoy the advantages of your local social security provisions while benefiting from the stability and security of being a permanent employee.

Getting Answers to Your Queries

If you have questions related to your daily work tasks, your primary contact should be your company. They can provide you with specific insights about your role and responsibilities.
