Mapping your Xero accounts
A Xero account code is a unique identifier assigned to accounts in Xero’s Chart of Accounts. These codes organize financial data by categorizing transactions (e.g., revenue, expenses, assets). Account codes are typically numeric (e.g., 200 for Sales Revenue).
When integrating the Omni Platform with Xero account codes, you will be asked to map transactions— such as Allowances and Expenses — to the corresponding accounts in Xero
For Xero customers in the UK, Australia, or New Zealand: It is important that the tax rate stated for each Invoice Category line item, matches the default tax rate of your chosen Xero account. If the tax rate does not match, you will receive an error asking you to select a different account.
Only account codes set as Expenses in Xero will appear in the Omni Platform as mapping choices
Congratulations!
Once you have mapped your account codes, your integration is done! In the Integrations page, you will see that Xero is marked as CONNECTED.
